Products
include those certified to German TUV BlmSchV 13 and 17 standards, UK MCERTS
Class 4 standards (ISO 10155) and calibrateable but non-certified
monitors. All stack monitors are calibrated to an iso-kinetic
sample and include zero, span and system self-checks. Both
Electrodynamic and Dynamic Opacity products are available to suit different
process requirements. Also available are single and multi-channel
instruments as well as hazardous zone monitors approved to Cenelec, UL, CSA and
BVS standards for gas and dust zones.
Optional
extras include remote calibration, onboard datalogging, graphics display,
broken bag prediction, normalisation to oxygen, full data reporting and
analysis and patented insulated probes for conductive dust, humid and wet
applications.
The
DT990 combines advanced signal processing techniques with PCMEs unique
Electrodynamic measurement principle. When the sensing probe is installed in
the duct or stack, particles in the airstream interact with the sensing rod
causing a charge induction effect which is analysed in the probe. Distributions
in the particle stream result in a frequency charge induction response, which
is directly proportional to the concentration of particulate (application
dependant). The instruments output is an analysis of this frequency response
and can be calibrated in mg/m3 by comparison to reference
iso-kinetic sample results. This technique has achieved
ISO 10155, MCERTS &
TUV approval.
