The ECS 1200 Basic system includes:
Ø An automatic sampler introduction device, which is integrated into the analyzer, gives the possibility to inject the sample (liquid or solid) automatically. With the Thermo Electron User Software the injection speed and – time can be set. The automatic sample introduction device consists of a cabinet to handle for all kind of Thermo Electron sample introduction modules and plunger pusher system to perform a constant rate syringe and boat sample introduction
Ø A high capacity dual temperature zone furnace. The furnace has two individual controlled temperature zones with a maximum of 1250°C. The furnace contains a standard ‘universal furnace tube’.
Ø A flow controller for oxygen gas; to obtain the oxidative pyrolysis of the sample
Ø A flow controller for Argon or Helium, the carrier gas; to introduce liquids and solids samples under inert gas.
Ø A compact and temperature controlled scrubber unit. The scrubber, which should be filled with concentrated sulfuric acid, removes all interfering substances and cools down the gasses.
Ø The unique designed chlorine titration cell, including massive silver electrodes. The titration cell has a 35ml capacity, thus capable of analyzing up to 60 samples without any maintenance. The measurement is accurate, the start-up time is short and there is less maintenance.
Ø An EDAK- and ECS-slave board for the data acquisition. The slave board converts the signal of the detector into a digital signal, which can be read by the EDAK-board.
Ø This software offers easy-to-use menu control for all vital parts and controls the complete analyzer, from stirrer speed to temperature control. For complete data-control the software includes, for example:
- Real-time curve screening
- Re-integration of peaks from measured samples
- Re-calculation options
- User defined methods and reports
- Statistical functions
The ECS1200 basic system will be supplied with 1/8”gasconnectors, tubings and powercables.
