The model SP-3D is mercury measuring equipment based on heat-vaporization, gold amalgamation, and cold-vapor atomic absorption, which are specified as the official method. There is no limit to sample properties, and solids, liquids, or gold-amalgamated gases can be targeted for analysis. The model does not require any sample pretreatment with chemicals, such as wet decomposition, and therefore is sufficiently easy enough for anyone to use.
