At Synspec we invent and build both gas chromatographs (GCs) and laser-acoustic analysers for a wide array of monitoring solutions that would suit the unique needs both of the environmental monitoring authorities and range of industries such as oil & gas, chemicals, semiconductor and adhesives. We use 25 years of gas chromatography know-how into detecting VOCs.
 
Our solutions help governing bodies and many industries attain compliance, reduce VOC hazards and engineer cleaner, safer processes.

Our Roots

Synspec was founded in 1993 by Frank and Titia Meuwese, two chemists, who graduated from the University of Groningen. The founders’ strong views on environmental issues is what prompted them to start this business. And even until today their deeply-rooted values are reflected in the philosophy and day-to-day actions of our employees: care for the environment at work and at home.

Today, Synspec is a leading company, operating at the high-end of the market, in the manufacturing of VOC instruments for ambient air monitoring and industrial emissions monitoring. Together with its sister company, LSE Monitors, Synspec belongs to a Dutch holding entity. Synspec is R&D based enterprise with all operations and facilities in Groningen, the Netherlands.
